Posted - 05/04/2012 : 10:23:37 hi all, just a quick vid taken yesterday, ignore the playing, concentrate on the sound! Kick and snare are bog-standard rehearsal studio ones btw.

Posted - 07/04/2012 : 00:31:31 Ah, interesting - I imagine the Pearl kit to sound a bit harder and more focussed - the Premiers have thinner shells, older vibe altogether and probably more 'boingy' - does this sound right? |

I meant PC's old Pearl kit from 82/83 that I have, sounds very different to your Premier kit, as I hear it on your recording. |

Posted - 06/04/2012 : 22:02:05 Stands are still a work in progress - combination of an old Premier flat-based double stand, and 2 Sonor 400 double cymbal stands with multi clamps and L arms. It's a bit of a dog's dinner but I'll sort it in time - have a DW 8000 double tom stand coming soon. Which recording of Pearl drums do you mean? Ta, J. |
