Posted - 06/07/2012 : 11:09:42 Yesterday I took delivery of some new tubs from the lovely people at Jobeky. I am WELL impressed; the kick is a real boon and a massive improvement over the KD-8 pad and the 3-ply heads make the drums even more playable.
I need to adjust my technique for the kick slightly because it is noticeably springier than a regular kick, but that's a minor gripe that will clear with time.
Bravo, Jobeky.

Posted - 20/07/2012 : 14:10:54 Update. Thanks to the infinitely excellent Jane at Jobeky, I have shifted my TD-9 brain & VH-11 hi hat... and purchased a 2Box brain and hi hat! Excite!
Reviews coming forthwith. |

WIWO? Shame they lost your hardware :( I'm not a fan of couriers at the best of times. How are the Gen16s?

I should really get a pic taken of my Jobeky kit and post it up somewhere. It's an absolute beaut.
Yes, yes you should :)
Welp. The kit is brilliant.
I'm having a few issues with getting the cross-stick sounds working properly on the snare - I can't actually play the rim light enough for the TD-9 brain to differentiate between the sounds! - but other than that it's gig-ready. |

Very minimal which suits you, logic.
I'm still waiting for my Jobeky kit. It's my own fault for being so indecisive.
Cheers, Prog! Minimal is the future. It's very comfy to play and I can get the whole shebang in two wheeled cases. Boom; done.
How come you keep changing your mind? I though you had it sorted! |

Posted - 07/07/2012 : 09:02:20 Cheers, squire! Aye; only one tom. I never really use a rack tom unless a gig requires it. I was thinking about having some wooden hoops made for the kick just to complete the aesthetic... |

Posted - 06/07/2012 : 20:49:57 The bass looks a little strange with chrome instead of wood hoops but I guess there's no need for them. Other than that it looks lovely, very classy indeed Logic! Only one tom though? Reminds me of Reni's original setup, only a bass, snare and floortom. |
