Mike Ellis/Baskey vintage of this forum might be able to help. Otherwise your next best bets would be to put a "Wanted" Ad in the Classified ads on this site, in the Vintage section. Click on the Classifieds link at the top right of this page. Plenty of dealers and collectors DO read those ads and contact people if they have the item. next best bet is to go to the NDF show near Birmingham in Autumn, it is a great show, with masterclasses and performances, and a wide range of new, 2nd hand and vintage stuff to see and buy. Alternatively I could send you an off cut of brown natural rubber sheet which I use for some of my products. This will look different but work as well and can be glued in place with Evo-Stik Impact glue, in a red tube or tin from DIY shops. Is it a 250 pedal (rounded shape foot plate) or the later 250s (angular foot plate)? |

Thanks for the replies.Captain,I thought that it was the rounded style, I've never seen an angular one.Unfortunately there isn't a whole lot that you can glue a flat board to because all that is left is a pressed steel "skeleton" which I'm assuming the foot pad was moulded to. Sonarbell,I will PM you if I can figure it out.(computer illegitemate me ) |

Evo Stik Impact is pretty durable, spread it on both sides, let it dry, then push them firmly together. It would also be possible to add thin rubber strips (old cycle inner tube) on the under side to form virtual "straps' around the skeleton, and stick each end of these to the top rubber sheet with puncture repair glue. The 250 looks rounded and a bit like a shoe insole shape, the 250s looks a bit like a small shield shape at the heel, joining a bigger and longer shield shape at the instep and toe area. Not a bad idea to buy another (like Sonarbell's) then you have a good source of spares.
To PM, click on the little letter and envelope in the line above a person's post, but on this site PMs do not always work. |

Click on the "Letter and Envelope" icon just above the word "either" in your post ^
If you add a Homepage to your profile (Click on the little word "Profile" at the top right of this page, just under "mikedolbear.com) it will show on that icon line as a letter with a little house in front of it, then people can look at your home page and you can visit theirs.
