How long does it normally take for Drumshop to post stuff out? I placed my order on Monday and the order progress is still only "In progress". Would've liked to have roadtested the new sound this weekend |

| Still no communication from Drumshop, sent 4 emails and not even had a response to update on order progress. I guess as it's a small order and I'm not a professional who buys £1000s of gear a month I don't really matter. So much for customer service!! |

Give them a ring - their customer service has always been exemplary in my experience and I'm a small scale buyer. I've experienced small delays once or twice when they've been inundated with orders after a sale club but whenever I've contacted them to chase it up they've been very good at sorting it. |

I ordered heads in the sale last Wednesday evening. I received an order to say the email was being processed then heard nothing until they were dispatched yesterday and arrived today.
I appreciate they will have been busy with the sale on, but they had all of Thursday, Friday and Monday, then finally dispatched Tuesday.
For an online retailer, pretty poor service IMHO. |

With stuff in the sale club I take the view that as there is probably next to no profit margin in it for them (and their postage charge is silly cheap) I don't expect OTT service. However, I happen to think getting an acknowledgement of my order, a message confirming despatch and receipt of the goods within a week (as I've always been lucky to experience) is exemplary on goods I'm getting at such outrageously low prices.

I've had the same experience with DrumShop. I ordered a Pro Racket case off their website (which said it was in stock).... Order went to "Processing Stage", and then 10 days later when I rang, it was still on it's way to them - and no one had told me they didn't have it in stock and had to order it from the distributor.
However, they did profusely apologise and sent me some free stuff to say sorry - which makes everything better. They do get most of my trade I must say, so it's had no lasting damage on my reputation of them... |

Personally, I don't see why offering something at such a low price (which they choose to do) should mean they can reduce their standard of service, I don't particularly want a trade off of price v service.
I would expect the service on a sale item to be exactly the same as on any other item I might buy, so based on my experience I can only assume it'll take nearly a week to deliver anything I order. Which means if in future I want something sharpish, I won't risk ordering it from Drumshop! |

How can two different bits of plastic glued to a metal hoop sound so different? I put the new EMAD on last night and WOW! what a different. Warm, punchy and focused bass drum sound with nice fast response too. How happy am I |

Well I had a call from them fair play on my voicemail Saturday and rang them back today. Just one of those postal problems. Happier now I got through the gig on sat without breaking what's left of my PS3. Drumshop have really sorted me out on this one. I will use them again as I have used them many times in the past. Although I never got the head when I needed it Drumshop have more than made up for it. |

Sorted me out too, would prefer not to have issues in the first place but when they admit fault and make up for issues it certainly restores faith in customer service. Will be using Drumshop again! (What a materialstically fickle bunch we are!!) |

mine arrived this morning a little late, but I've been working away since I ordered it and got back this afternoon, so I'm not at all fussed on the delay. |
