Some of you might remember that a while ago I asked for some votes on an online competition thing, to win my band a slot at a Norwegian festival, as well as some recording time.

Well we won the competition (massive thanks to everyone that voted!!), and tomorrow morning we're leaving for the festival!

Massively excited - never played abroad before so it's a fresh experience for me. It promises to be a lot of fun!

If anyone's interested in the band, we recently made a new video, it can be seen here: http://youtu.be/GxZIBxOXf88

Thanks guys, in a bit!

Norway is lovely place, but bloody expensive. Enjoy!

Mid life crisis kicked in, drum kit bought. It's not quite like cycling though, you forget. A lot!

Playing abroad is fine, but remember that your kit will be the other way round, just like driving!!

Have fun

Excellent! I lived there for a couple of years and I still go over there fairly regularly for work. Nice festival scene going on - which festival are you playing at?

Cheers for all the kind words!

It's really rural and scenic and pretty here, quite different to liverpool!

The festival is called somerfesten, we're playing tomorrow and spending today doing a few interviews and exploring the area and stuff

I think it might be getting streamed live, if I find out where I'll post a link

Chris where are you in Norway? Sommerfesten, basically means 'the Summer festival', and they have them all over the country. Quite a few down the west coast. Can you see a lot of beardy blokes? One or 2 carrying bibles maybe?

....oi...
.

Really? What both feet?

Seen a few beardy dudes, not sure it narrows it down! Everyone is realy friendly though!

festival is in a place called giske, and we're staying near alesund.

we were interviewed on equivalents of bbc1 and radio 4 today, seems like it's quite a big thing. Good times

Got back last night, what an experience!

Such a beautiful place and lovely people (the festival was awesome too!). Wasn't as expensive as i was expecting either, apart from the beer.

I think we all completely fell in love with the place, can't wait to head back in february to record the album!
