| Squeak and I saw her in quite a good Rock Musical in Chatham a couple of years ago. Yup, space apart can keep things fresh. Sad to hear he has been so badly depressed by the music business, so talented. |

Contrast his atitude to that of Peter Gabriel, a reasonable comparison given their ages and circumstances. They have both had successes, both can be considered hugely creative, talented, and influential, yet Gabriel has managed to find a far more comfortable space for himself within the tough terrain where art and commerce meet. It may be that Fripp's character is more isolationist and controlling. My question remains though; why choose to be unhappy? JF |

| It's hard not to be a little bitter when others make loads of money of your creativity, I know how it feels because a leading cymbal company stole my idea after I demo'd it to them. I carry on regardless, but whenever I see my idea with their name on it I cannot help feeling a bit angry, especially as they like to crow about how innovative THEY are for coming up with the idea. |
