I hope you guy's can help? i'm after a aqua sparkle wrap for a 50s premier kit 20x16,12x8,16x16,14x5. all of the uk companys i have seen, 1 sheet of wrap is 54"x 23" and thats not enough to cover the bass drum in one piece (which i'm planning to cut it myself). where can i get the correct size (62.83") in one piece or am i best getting it pre cut? and for reasons discussed on this forum dont want to use drumwrap.uk. thanks for your time chap's.

most drum wraps are made by the same maker, Delmar (sparkles, pearls, glitters etc) & they only come in 54 x 24 sizes, that's industry std, so most wrapped kits come with a bass drum done in 2 pieces, if you look on a wrapped kit... there is usualy in infill on the underside.

gone!

what would it cost to wrap a four drum kit in simple black gloss wrap, 12" 13" 16" 22" all in??

Thanks for that monkeythedrummer, its right on my door step, shame most of it's out of stock.

What would you chaps suggest about restoring a kit?

The green sparkle is very close to the wrap i took of the premier 50s kit.

Although the red sparkle looks nice(both out of stock) i dont know if i should wait for the green to keep it near original colour chart or would it matter what wrap/color went on to a 52 year old kit?

Would it make any differance?

Dunno if this is of any use to you, but...there's a bloke on www.drummingireland.com selling two sheets of green sparkle wrap at a great price. Look in the "Classifieds" on that site.

I can, and that wrap is CHEAP! Luke, it's not a separate tab, but a section in the actual forum, it's quite far down though (page 2 I think...)

By the way, seems like you have a great drumming community in that there Ireland Mully

If its still available I can pick it up for you. I'm in Dublin this Saturday. Was looking at that myself but I have enough drums for now.

Thanks, Mustang, but it's not me who's looking for it - I just thought someone else in this thread might want it.

Yes, still after the wrap and I am grateful for everyone's input.

I can't believe how hard it is to get good drum wrap that's in stock.

Cheers
